Brooklyn artist Lamerol Gatewood observes his culture from many angles. For nearly 30 years, he has thrived in an environment that welcomes all creeds, colors, persuasions and interests. This weekend, Gatewood’s first solo show in 10 years will debut at Brooklyn Arts Fellowship Gallery, or BAF. “The Energy Series” features more than a dozen works that incorporate painting, collage and mixed media. An opening reception is planned from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 4. The show runs through April 2.
